Yeah I've seen Pumpkin at the Rivero Inn, not sure which calendar days (might just be random?) but you can only shop there at night. Will check that out and see if I can figure out a possible pattern. I've seen screenshots from someone else that he also visits the Rivero Inn. He (or She) wasn't there in the morning of this Day 21, but was in the afternoon. I saw Pumpkin Merchant in Mountain Farm on Day 21 (Multiple of 3? of 7?) at around 1pm standing to the right of the Town Center Circle. But I don't think he will participate in the pumpkin quest from Canini Beach either, since it seems like each location he is a separate NPC as far as the game's code is concerned. I only found him in Canini Beach once though, never found him in the mountains, so can't confirm the timing.

The only benefit of finding him there is you can buy Pumpkins, Kale, and Pineapples (need one pumpkin, five kale, and five pineapples for different quests) instead of growing them, but they are the same price as what you sell it for if you grew it and he sells Moonstones and Sunstones so you don't have to go miniboss hunting for those, assuming you have the money to pay the Pumpkin to buy a few of them.Īnd yes I meant the peaceful village in the mountains, where you have to bring food for "Frosty" and then hot tea for the guards. It was after the quest to trade my first pearl for his pumpkin, and I only asked for one pumpkin - not sure if that is important here. Three play-throughs now (I'm writing a guide) and only found him there ONCE - during my first play-through. On the east (right) side of the village, by Capri's house. Not 100% sure though, it was a week or two ago. I think I found him in Canini Beach in the afternoon.
